Maia Ordonez was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. She graduated from Salpointe Catholic High School in 2016 and earned her bachelors degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Arizona State University in 2019.
During her time at Arizona State University, she discovered her passion for criminal justice while interning at the US Attorney’s Office in Phoenix, Arizona. In February 2021, she moved to Florida and began working at the State Attorney’s Office shortly after her big move.
At the State Attorney’s Office, she was a legal assistant in the misdemeanor and felony criminal divisions. She was able to gain experience in the criminal justice system and became familiar with all stages of a criminal case.
She is excited to be joining the Coastal Legal Team and can’t wait to learn more about criminal and family law.
